Nonparametric Control Charts for Monitoring Serial Dependence based on Ordinal Patterns

چکیده

We consider the problem of monitoring for existence serial dependence in real-valued and continuously distributed processes. These can exist when a process goes out-of-control. Besides, as many control charts are designed under assumption independent identically observations, validity this needs to be checked. In literature, majority studies handled by using specific case autoregressive moving-average time series models. Also moving-window approach is often considered, which leads drawback that at least window length observations need collected before an out-of-control situation detected. Here, we use ordinal patterns propose fully nonparametric distribution-free, have unique chart design, used almost instantaneously start monitoring. The proposed do not require any model fitting, thus, eliminating problems associated with estimation errors, but might part Phase-I study. Through comprehensive performance comparison study various scenarios, effectiveness uncovering shown recommendations selection given. Implementations illustrated batch yield data from chemical process.

New phase II control chart for monitoring ordinal contingency table based processes

In some statistical process monitoring applications, quality of a process or product is described by more than one ordinal factors called ordinal multivariate process. To show the relationship between these factors, an ordinal contingency table is used and modeled with ordinal log-linear model. In this paper, a new control charts based on ordinal-normal statistic is developed to monitor the ord...

Profile Control Charts Based on Nonparametric L-1 Regression Methods.

Classical statistical process control often relies on univariate characteristics. In many contemporary applications, however, the quality of products must be characterized by some functional relation between a response variable and its explanatory variables. Monitoring such functional profiles has been a rapidly growing field due to increasing demands. This paper develops a novel nonparametric ...

Nonparametric multivariate control charts based on a linkage ranking algorithm

Control charts have been widely recognized as important and critical tools in system monitoring for detection of abnormal behavior and quality improvement. In particular, multivariate control charts have been effectively used when a process involves a number of correlated process variables. Most existing multivariate control charts were developed using the assumption of normally distributed pro...

Nonparametric Shewhart-type Quality Control Charts in Fuzzy Environment

Nonparametric control charts are presented in order to figure out the problem of detecting changes in the process median (or mean)‎, ‎or changes in the variability process where there is limited knowledge regarding the underlying process‎. ‎When observations are reported imprecise‎, ‎then it is impossible to use classical nonparametric control charts‎. ‎This paper is devoted to the problem of c...

approximation effects on control charts for process monitoring

in statistical quality control a very widely used measure is average run length (arl) which may be worked out by different methods like integral equation, approximations, and monte carlo simulations. the arl measure and the other related measures are of major significance in every type of production process. an omission in its computation (and hence its related measures such as extra quadratic ...
